BREAKING: Nude Miley Cyrus pics and what they really mean

12.2.10: As the web's 5th or 6th leading expert on unsubstantiated Miley Cyrus nomenclature and cell-phone nude pix, obviously this BuzzFeed piece was of interest to me. Not because I want to see MC naked (I do), but because Miley Cyrus is an important modern celebrity. She was exploited as a 'sexual entity' well before she was 'legal' and she has been at the forefront of social media / 'having an internet presence' perhaps before she could even read. Some say she perfected the art of vlogging. But even if weirdos were jacking it to her famous self-taken cellphone pics when she was still underage, her explosion into adulthood has been fast and furious ('Tokyo drift' speed, even). That is to say she looks different--picture of her at 18th birthday party--she looks hot in an 'adult' way now, and that seemed to happen overnight. So it's not really shocking she would get naked pics of her out there so quickly. Her ascent through the celebrity sphere is moving at an accelerated, hyperreal rate. She is not just a celebrity, she is a post-person celebrity. She is all brand, and zero human. She is perfect. She will be blowing animals in outerspace by her 27th birthday. We are all witnesses. If we want to truly understand we need to shed our person too. It won't be easy.

UPDATE: Probably not her. Most of the above still applies.
